I can't handle FPS games anymore...
I just spent the majority of this afternoon playing Doom 3 and I must be getting old. The game is very dark (even after max gamma and max monitor brightness) and requires switching back and forth between the flashlight and the current weapon. I found this very annoying because of having to reload/charge the weapons. Maybe it's because I'm old and slow. I just can't handle first person shooter (FPS) games like I could in the old days! After a mere two-hour foray, I got really nauseous and dizzy because of the damned thing. Perhaps it's true, I'm nearing 21 now and I'm getting old...

An addendum for my last post

The word of the day is: Update!
Now I know a few of you have been complaining that I haven't been posting lately, but you can't just blame me. It's summer and we all know what that means -- courses, studying, exams and papers (in my case anyways). So while you all enjoy your vacations to Malta, sitting at home watching TV (I don't have a TV) or relaxing on the beach, don't forget to think about yours truly. I've laid out this rant in what is becoming my typical style of haphazardly throwing topics together. Enjoy.
Oops, I did it again. I guess it's not that short. Sorry.

Always thank the people you exploit
I've been meaning to write this particular rant for a while now, however I've been rather busy. Lately, I have been dealing with more people who are threatening me with lawsuits, legal action and other similar idle-threats.
There was this one lady named Morgalis from Diabloworld.com, who went as far as contacting UofT to complain that I was ruining the game play of Diablo 2. She filed countless complaints with eBay under it's VeRO Policy. She also insisted that I was selling her programs, to which she claimed to own a copyright to. Not surprisingly enough, in the end, the only thing that happened was that eBay had ended a few of my auctions early. Nothing else happened. She couldn't (or wouldn't) support any of her claims, as far as contacting UofT went, all that did was to encourage me to find other servers to host me. At first I wondered, why would someone I didn't even know be so up-in-arms against me? Then it came to me, perhaps she was a rival seller who simply could not handle the competition that I was placing on the Diablo 2 eBay market. I checked her eBay feedback, and it was confirmed, the poor girl hadn't sold one item in the past 3 weeks. I'm sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, if you can't beat my marketing, get out of my market.

My customers are typically rich and/or ignorant

I'm living with interesting people this summer
Interesting and diverse would be far more accurate. My roommates for this semester include a Canadian 2nd Year Political Science student named Ryan, a Taiwanese 4th Year Computer Science student named Stanford and an Italian post-Doctorate Geologist named Christian.
